A Greenwich back garden designed to be both practical and beautiful. A staggered path replaced the old tired lawn, with deep flower beds either side.

An existing large tree provided shade for a outdoor dining area, and in this north facing garden, the planted areas are designed to thrive in the part shade. Shrubs including Hydrangeas, Pittosporum and Heptacodium miconioides give structure, with perennials such as Geraniums & Astrantia provide long flowering colour.

As the garden develops the plants will spill out over the path edges to give a more relaxed look.
