Wildest Dreams Garden Design
About
Hello, I’m Sarah, a garden designer in Greenwich, Southeast London and owner of Wildest Dreams Garden Design.
I have a passion for bringing vibrant colour to urban gardens, and love working with families who want their gardens to feel more beautiful, alive and individual. Specialising in small to medium-sized gardens, I collaborate with my clients to create outdoor spaces that they can feel proud of and enjoy spending time in, treating each project I work on with the same care as if it were my own garden.
Before garden design, I spent over a decade in market research, most recently as an Associate Director of Research working in film and TV. This honed my precision and teamwork skills, but after returning from my second maternity leave, I found it didn’t “fit” anymore, and I was craving a more creative and flexible career.
I thought back to my childhood; the joy of being outside, walking in the woods with our dogs (sometimes in my best party dress, which always puzzled my mum), exploring streams and ponds, picking flowers, and spending time with my dad on his allotment. I had my own small patch in the garden where I could do whatever I wanted.
This childhood love for nature led me to pursue a diploma in Garden Design from Capel Manor College, where I won an award for wildlife-friendly planting. I also earned an RHS Certificate in Practical Horticulture.
I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with my clients. I especially enjoy working closely with them to unlock the potential of their gardens, finding beauty even in the smallest spaces. I understand the demands of a busy life and believe in the power of gardens as peaceful sanctuaries—spaces that allow my clients and their families to reconnect with nature (and each other!) and to view their outdoor areas as a true extension of their homes.
